This has been a very busy week!
First, I was honored to be invited by Elizabeth Reardon of Theology is a Verb to appear on her radio show titled An Engaging Faith with Elizabeth Reardon.
I have three appearances this week, the first of which can be heard on this podcast. You can tune into Real Life Radio Thursday (6/11) or Friday (6/12) at 4:00 pm to hear more of our conversation. This afternoon we will be revisiting my 7 tips for new religion teachers.
It’s also the last day of teaching today! I love structure and routine, and I have a great time every day with my students; nevertheless I relish summer vacation.
Finally, this weekend and into next week I’ll be taking a time-out and going on a short, local honeymoon with my husband. We have been married two months today and we’re ready for a relaxing break on the Connecticut shore, at the cottage of one of my mother’s generous friends. People were horrified that we didn’t take a honeymoon after the wedding, and I’m sure some will still be horrified that we are only going 100 miles away for 5 days, but it works for us!
So you won’t be hearing much from me for the next few days, but I hope to come back energized and in vacation mode, ready to write more and hear more from all of you. May the weather be lovely wherever you are, tune in today and tomorrow at four, and pray for us on our honeymoon!
