I am a singer, actress, religious educator, and writer living in Boston.
In addition to teaching religion, I conduct a few liturgical choirs, run half-marathons, read books, practice yoga, and follow politics. In addition to singing opera, I perform in concerts and musical theater. You can read my professional bio elsewhere on this site.
Spirituality and identity are major interests of mine. I seriously considered naming this blog “Are you there God? It’s me, Margaret.”
I’m a New Englander through and through, reared in northern Connecticut and now living in Boston. My husband is also a New Englander, and after four years as a commuter couple we are happy to be living together in the Dorchester neighborhood of Boston.
